Guest Post... Alison

As some of you may know from my tweets I'm currently holidaying in Mexico :). Some lovely peoples have offered to guest post for me!!

We all at one time would have believed that our whole make-up collection was essential.

I was one of those girls, I would buy anything that I could get my fingers on and would follow collections from brands such as MAC. To put it bluntly, I ended up with a collection of lovely make-up that I wasn't using so it was an easy decision to stop buying make-up and use up the products that I had.

With this in mind I thought I would post about the 5 products that I would purchase and re-purchase if I couldn't have ANY other products at all.

Face. My favourite of ALL foundations is Clarins Everlasting. I can't tell you how much I love this foundation but it provides a perfect coverage with a dewy finish and I simply love it.

Eyes. The Maybelline Falsies has been my favourite mascara for years, I love the formulation as it gives my lashes the length and volume that I love. I also love the applicator, it allows for me to cover all of my lashes with minimal fuss. As for eyeshadow, I am a neutral girl through and through. I have FAR too many eyeshadows in my collection but if I could only have one it would be the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay. It is the perfect palette for my eyes and I use it daily.

Lips. My lipstick collection is mainly from MAC and I absolutely love every one of my collection but I would have to say that if I had to have only one it would be Hue. It's the perfect nude, wearable, every day pink colour for me. I love it! I am on my third tube and it is the only lipstick I have EVER used this much.

Face. I don't believe you have to spend a fortune on brushes and for me at the moment, Real Techniques wins without a shadow of doubt. I love their core collection and their individual brushes and would definitely re-purchase.

What are your five staples?
