Guest Post... Lydia Sparkles

Friday, 11 October 2013
As some of you may know from my tweets I'm currently holidaying in Mexico :). Some lovely peoples have offered to guest post for me!!

Hi i’m Lydia from Lydiasparkles and I have a bit of a nail polish addiction! I decided today that I have far too many nail polishes, so now my mission is to blog about them all. Essie are fast becoming my favourite nail polish range, they have some lovely colours but really come into their own in Autumn. So today I’m going to show you my top 5 Essie polishes for Autumn.

1 – Essie Sand Tropez
This is a new favourite, but it’s a lovely nude and suits my pale hands. It needed 3 coats to be even, but it wasn't too bad to apply.

2 – Essie Angora Cardi
This is a cult classic I think, perfect for the start of Autumn and before we all transition to the dark shades.

3 – Essie Power Clutch
Everyone needs a grey in their collection! I’m not a huge fan of black so turn to this instead. It applied beautifully in 1 coat, but I always like to apply 2 coats.

4 – Essie Chinchilly
This colour is one of my favourite polishes ever! It’s the perfect mix of brown and grey and goes with everything. If you like taupes then I strongly suggest you buy this.

5 – Essie Bahama Mama
I wanted this polish for a long time and I finally caved this year, I think this is just the perfect colour for Autumn time. It applies perfectly in 2 coats and will go with all your cozy jumpers.

Thank you Charli for letting me guest post and feel free to come visit me at
