The weekly brush wash...

Ahh the weekly brush wash, the part of the week I dread the most - second only to the ironing. I seem to use so many brushes in a week and I have no idea why. But I do try and make the process a little less painful by settling down and watching some of my favourite youtubers - this weeks choice was Eloise.

The process is pretty simple. I take all the dirty brushes, swirl them in alcohol, rub on a towel and BAM they look lovely and new. I can't be bothered with all the soap and water methods - I get through far too many brushes in a week.

What's your brush washing routine?

  1. I'm sooo bad at keeping on top of this but planning to this evening, usually just soap and water for me!

  2. I use baby shampoo and just swirl them around on my hand, rinse them out then leave to dry overnight on a towel. I've heard a lot of people use alcohol on their brushes but some people have said it can dry them out over time so I've never dared to try it. And yes, of course watching YouTube is an essential part of the process!!

  4. I use a silicone mitt and baby shampoo... uploading a video on it in the next few days! Careful with the alcohol as it can dry out the bristles!

  5. I hate washing my brushes. I was supposed to be washing them now, but I really can't face it!
